A camp kitchen keeps the cooking gear together so setup is one motion instead of ten. The cases and sets here hold a stove, utensils and food, then open into a work surface or a shelf. None of it fastens to the van. You carry it out, use it on a tailgate or a table, and stow it again when the meal is done.
Portability is the whole argument for anyone whose van sits outside the fitment charts, or who cooks well away from the vehicle. Decide by how you cook: a compact case for one burner and a kettle, a full set when several people are eating. A soft cooler covers the cold side on short trips. Case dimensions and capacities are those given by the manufacturer.
