Platform height in a Transit is a trade against the garage underneath it. A high roof gives enough vertical room to set the sleeping deck high and still leave a bay below deep enough for a bike or two totes. Under a mid roof, raising the deck costs sitting up room, so the bay shrinks and access moves to the rear doors.
Transit-specific platforms sit alongside universal frames and L-track bed brackets. The bar for listing is a published deck load rating and confirmed fitment, and more will be added as that documentation is supplied.
