Selection notes
The Transit carries its sill high enough that the sliding door is a long first step for a shorter passenger, and a lift kit or taller tires push it further out of range. A fixed rail step gives an intermediate landing at a usable height and takes the impact that would otherwise land on the rocker panel over rough ground.
The range is short for a documentation reason: competing assemblies without a rated standing load and a confirmed Transit mounting pattern are held back. Load figures shown come from manufacturer documentation.
