Soft storage answers a different question than a box does: not where does this live, but how does it get carried and what happens when it is wet. Wet-dry gear bags separate soaked kit from everything else, dry goods bags hold food and clothing at several sizes, pouches and sheaths carry the small hard-to-file items, and MOLLE-compatible pieces move between panel, seat, and pack.
This is the simplest category to add to an order already in progress, and the deepest one in the store. Hard cases, lockable boxes, and drawer systems are covered on their own pages, and capacity figures are as the manufacturers publish them.
